Via Alley, Black & Blue Gallery, TwoThousand and NowNow present the launch of art-come-colouring-book SHORT. It’s designed for kids, but artists like Stefan Marx, Beci Orpin, Chris Hopkins, Josh Petherick, Will Sweeney and Mike Giant have designed its pages. You’ll want one too. No tears.

graniph Sydney - coming Feb 2008

An influx of design is about to descend on Sydney, all contained on the canvas of a T-shirt. On February 28, Japanese label graniph will open its first Australian store in The Galeries Victoria.

graniph prides itself on directly connecting the T-shirt artists with T-shirt wearers. For the Sydney boutique opening, graniph’s Australian design contingent will be represented in-store (Lyn and Tony, Dale Satler, Jeremyville, Nadia Hunt, Beci Orpin, Luca Ionescu and Simon Massey di Valazza). There will also be 60 super-limited edition Sydney-only graniph T-shirts made especially for the opening.

The Design Tshirts strores graniph have been founded in 2001 and
started a new era to fuse art and fashion through T-shirts as a media.
Based in Tokyo they are creating graniph inhouse designs, work with
japanese artists and copyrighters and also collaborate with artist,
illustrators, photographers and typography designers, movie and music
productions from around the globe.
